The Last of Us Part II a castigat Ultimate Game of the Year

The Last of Us Part II este Ultimate Game of the Year, conform  Golden Joystick Awards 2020. A mai castigat Best Audio, Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, PlayStation Game of the Year, iar Naughty Dog a fost desemnat Best Studio.

Deci 6 premii a castigat Caine Obraznic, din cele 24 de categorii. Adica un sfert, ceea ce e o realizare in sine pentru un astfel de show, unde premiile sunt oferite in baza votului public.

Golden Joystick Awards este show-ul de premiere realizat anual de GamesRadar. Anul acesta a avut loc cea de-a 38-a editie, moderata de Laura Bailey, actrita din spatele lui Abby din TLOU2, si Travis Willingham, cel care ii interpreteaza pe Wilson Fisk si Thor din Marvel’s Spider-Man, respectiv Avengers. Evident, totul s-a petrecut exclusiv in online, pe Twitch.

Deja notoriul director de creatie pentru The Last of Us, Neil Druckman, a declarat:

„I’m not going to lie, this is pretty sweet. It’s amazing to be in the company of such amazing games”, aratandu-si recunostinta fata de toate titlurile nominalizate.

„I could not be prouder of this game and the team that put it together, and how we lifted each other up when we needed to”, si a tinut sa-si prezinte din nou gratitudinea pentru actritele principale: „I especially want to give a shout out to Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey, who killed it in more ways than one as Ellie and Abby. The game would not be what it is without your guys’ contributions, your amazing performances.”

In final, a tinut sa multumeasca fiecarui fan care a votat in favoarea lor: „This being a fan award, you have no idea what it means to me and the team, and we will keep working hard to make you proud.”
